New Products: BEA introduces GPL laser line

BEA Lasers recently introduced a new GPL line of lasers that are best suited for light industrial applications such as alignment, positioning, leveling, drilling, event detection, edge detection, security, cutting, vision systems, metrology, bar code readers, education, robotic control, and laboratory or test operations.

The GPL series system includes a ½-inch OD NPT threaded housing with mounting hardware, and its cable length is 36 inches, BEA said. Its available patterns include green or red dot, or green or red line, with a nominal focal length of 17 inches.

BEA also noted that the product's housing is made of CRS and plated with a clear zinc oxide.

The new product line also features a USB plug-in which allows users the option of connecting to a computer. It is not conducive for use in wet, high vibration or harsh environment applications
