ISTANBUL—Turkish reinforcement supplier Kordsa Inc. is expanding its polyester yarn production capacity in Turkey.
In a Dec. 19 news release, Kordsa held a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of an additional production line at its plant in Izmit, Turkey, to raise its capacity to 7,000 metric tons per year.
Additionally, a new polypropylene monofilament line, for construction reinforcement, will be built at the site, which is being expanded by roughly 37,675 square feet in 2018.
