NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Hankook Tire America Corp. continued its partnership with Disabled American Veterans by expanding the number of Hankook-sponsored DAV Mobile Service Office stops across the country.
The 2017 program provided free services to 355 veterans and their families, more than triple the number of veterans served since the partnership program began in 2015, according to a Hankook release.
As part of the program, Hankook hosted six DAV MSO stops this year at partnering tire dealerships, and brought free services directly to local veterans in California, Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. At the MSO stops, certified DAV benefits advocates conducted interviews in the "office on wheels" and helped veterans and their families file 188 claims.
