FAIRLAWN, Ohio—There is still time to register for the Hose Manufacturers Conference, to be held Oct. 24-25 in Fairlawn.
The event will feature keynote presentations by Roger Tutterow, a professor of economics at Kennesaw State University, and Andreas Gerstenberger, ContiTech executive vice president and head of the firm's Industrial Fluid Solutions business.
Tutterow will kick off the conference with an economic keynote. His analysis—relating to the economic, business and political landscapes—has been featured in print and broadcast media outlets including Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Financial Times, Bloomberg Television and NPR programs "Marketplace" and "All Things Considered."
Gerstenberger will provide insight into the changing business landscapes with his presentation "The Global Transformation of Industrial and Automotive Business Models." He is scheduled to speak after lunch.
The two-day Hose Manufacturers Conference is organized jointly by Rubber & Plastics News, ContiTech and Beaver Manufacturing Inc. It will be held Oct. 24-25 at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn hotel and features more than 20 presentations and more than a dozen exhibitors.
Attendees will have access to every presentation as well as many of the technical papers presented at the conference.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided and a networking reception will be held on the first day of the event.
