DENVER—Gates Corp. completed its acquisition of Atlas Hydraulics, a product engineering, manufacturing and commercial business headquartered in Brantford, Ontario.
The acquisition enhances Gates' portfolio with fluid power solutions and services and complements its existing hydraulic product lines, Gates CEO Ivo Jurek said in a statement.
Atlas will be integrated into the newly established Hose and Tube Assemblies business unit. Atlas has locations in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, and specializes in the design, manufacture and supply of hydraulic tube and hose assemblies. Atlas was established in 1979.
