The Rubber Division of the American Chemical Society is growing.
Individual and corporate memberships, technical meeting and expo attendance, exhibitors and expo floor space, student presentations, sponsorships and our Elastomer Training Center's technical workshop attendance are all increasing.
This is good news for the Rubber Division, however, it is even better news for the industry, as we are able to offer more benefits and value to service our members and their organizations.
The 2017 International Elastomer Conference is just around the corner. It will be held Oct. 9-12 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland in downtown Cleveland. We have already exceeded the number of companies requesting meeting rooms and overall expo floor space than the last odd-year conference/exposition in 2015, and it continues to grow.
This year also is packed with numerous events and programs aimed at providing the best possible venue for networking, sharing technical innovations, learning who the new generation of students are for your future employees, and expanding your local and international markets.
The 2017 IEC includes the International Rubber & Advanced Materials In Healthcare Expo, which features the traditional International Rubber Expo, as well as the addition of those involved with advanced materials in health care markets.
The IEC also includes the 192nd Technical Meeting of the Rubber Division, filled with global speakers; the exposition where you can find the right products and services to grow your company; educational symposium to expand your expertise; the high school program that provides an opportunity for young students to gain knowledge and encourages them to enter the rubber industry as future employees; and the Student Colloquium & Poster Session to allow college students to present their research.
