INDIANAPOLIS—The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers has added Sigmasoft Virtual Molding as a new corporate sponsor.
The trade association said in a Sept. 6 news release that Sigmasoft is a leader in virtual molding software, offering a broad suite of software modules that allow companies to optimize their molding systems. The firm's technology reduces the need for physical prototypes and tooling rework, providing companies with quicker turnaround times and lower costs.
Sigmasoft said in a statement that it is very excited to join the ARPM community as a corporate sponsor.
"Our goal is to provide insight about quality-related issues in rubber injection molding manufacturing companies," Sigmasoft Vice President Matt Proeske said in a statement. "We have a seasoned engineering team there with more than 70 years of experience and will prove to be a valuable resource to the elastomer injection molding community."
He added that Sigmasoft is eager to meet with rubber product manufacturers at the annual ARPM Benchmarking Conference, held in Indianapolis from Oct. 11-13.
ARPM is a trade association managed by rubber product manufacturers. Established in 2010, the association has more than 80 members.
