FAIRLAWN, Ohio—United Steelworkers Union members working in four U.S. ContiTech plants have ratified a new five-year contract with the firm.
A statement issued by ContiTech said the new pact was approved one year ahead of the current contract's expiration. It covers 1,100 employees working at plants in Marysville and St. Marys, Ohio; Lincoln, Neb.; and Sun Prairie, Wis., that manufacture conveyor belting, track, power transmission products and automotive hoses.
ContiTech did not provide details about the contract.
The USW did not provide immediate comment.
