DUESSELDORF, Germany—Applied Market Information Ltd. is set to host a new event, Polymers in Footwear 2017, which will be held in Duesseldorf Dec. 11-12.
The two-day program will be accompanied by an exhibition, including companies that deal in polyurethane, thermoplastic elastomers and foams among other polymers.

Sabrina Zinner, junior material engineer for innovation footwear at Puma, will open the conference with a presentation on innovation. A host of other speakers will examine advances in compounds and footwear manufacturing processes, including new technologies and exploring the future of the market.
