KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia—The 10th Annual Rubber Conference, organized by the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries, will focus on supply chain efficiency, with the view to "reengineer value chain for revitalizing production sector."
In an Aug. 1 statement, ANRPC secretary general Nguyen Ngoc Bich said the government of Vietnam will host the conference in Ho Chi Minh City on Oct. 23.
The one-day event is expected to be attended by 300 rubber industry players, analysts and policy makers from 15 countries.
The conference is structured into three talks and two panel discussions on "Markets run by farmers: experience across ANRPC member countries" and "Value addition in major rubber exporting countries: Miles to go."
