What do you love most about your job?
I find the complexity and constant evolution of the tire industry particularly interesting. Most specifically, I am intrigued by the explosion of information that customers have available. Customers today are demanding more and better data that they can use to make informed decisions, and it is changing the framework of the industry. Being part of this industry shift is extremely rewarding. We have the opportunity to innovate not only around what information and data is delivered, but also on the way customers get their information. My role allows me to shape the way our organization connects with customers, as well as allows me to focus on continually delivering meeting the evolving needs of our customer base. That's an exciting place to be.
What accomplishment are you most proud of so far and why?
My team was instrumental in the launch of the Firestone VersaBuilt product line to the off-the-road tire market. I am extremely proud of this because we saw an opportunity in the market where customers needed a product that would perform in a variety of applications for a value they could afford. We worked closely as an integrated team from manufacturing to development and sales and marketing to deliver a product to market in unprecedented speed for the OTR category.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I love working for Bridgestone and I see myself continuing to work for this great organization. The great thing about my experience here is that I have been able to continually develop and move on to bigger and more challenging roles at each step of my career. I look forward to that continued journey.
