CHICAGO—The Power Transmission Distributors Association, an association for the industrial power transmission/motion control distribution channel, welcomed eight new member companies—six distributors and two manufacturers.
The distributor members are:
Bearings Ltd., a Hauppauge, N.Y.-based distributor of bearings, belt and chain drives, conveyors and material handling components, shaft couplings and u-joints, linear motion components and PT accessories;
Beaudry Electric Motors of Sheboygan, Wis., which distributes adjustable/variable speed drives, bearings, belt and chain drives, clutches and brakes, motor/motion control, gearing, motors, industrial specialty chemicals, and PT accessories;
Northeast Industrial Technologies Inc. of Lima, N.Y., a distributor of adjustable/variable speed drives, bearings, belt and chain drives, clutches and brakes, motor/motion control, conveyors and material handling components, shaft couplings and u-joints, gearing, motors, industrial specialty chemicals, linear motion components and PT accessories;
Power-Link Inc., of Saint-Hubert, Quebec, which distributes bearings, belt and chain drives, conveyors and material handling components, shaft couplings and u-joints, gearing, and PT accessories;
Snake River Supply Inc. , an Idaho Falls, Idaho-based distributor of adjustable/variable speed drives, bearings, belt and chain drives, clutches and brakes, conveyors and material handling components, shaft couplings and u-joints, hydraulics and pneumatics, gearing, motors, industrial specialty chemicals, linear motion components, and PT accessories; and
Wyoming Bearing and Supply Corp. of Cheyenne, Wyo., distributor of adjustable/variable speed drives, bearings, belt and chain drives, clutches and brakes, motor/motion control, conveyors and material handling components, shaft couplings and u-joints, hydraulics and pneumatics, gearing, motors, industrial specialty chemicals, linear motion components and PT accessories.
New manufacturer members are:
Candy Manufacturing Co. Inc. of Niles, Ill., manufacturer of couplings, gears, screw jacks and positioning drives/controls.; and
Inpro/Seal L.L.C. of Rock Island, Ill., a seal manufacturer.
The PTDA is headquartered in Chicago, and represents power transmission/motion control distribution firms that generate more than $16 billion in sales and span more than 2,500 locations. PTDA members also include manufacturers that supply to the PT/MC industry.
