KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia—Von Bundit Co. Ltd. is the newest associate member of the International Rubber Study Group.
In a news release issued July 28, IRSG noted that Von Bundit, founded in 1987, is the largest natural rubber manufacturer in Thailand. Its headquarters are located in Phuket Province, Thailand.
In 1988, the Von Bundit was awarded a certificate of Quality System Conforming to TIS/ISO 9002 and ISO 14001:2004 from the Thai Ministry of Industry and International Standard for Environmental Management Systems, the group said. The company also won the Prime Minister Award for Best Exporter.
Von Bundit is the third NR company to join the IRSG in the last few months. Southland Global, the Singapore-based subsidiary of the Southland Rubber Group of Thailand, became an IRSG associate member in March.
NOCIL, the largest chemical producer in India, joined in April.
