MONTREAL—Movin'On will be returning to Montreal in 2018.
Michelin said the next event will take place from May 30-June 1. The first Movin'On, Michelin's international sustainable mobility conference, was just held in Montreal June 13-15. It was the successor to Michelin's Challenge Bibendum, which the company held 12 times in venues around the world beginning in 1996.
Michelin announced at the end of the first Movin'On that the event would return to Montreal in 2018, but did not announce specific dates at the time.
More than 4,000 participants from 31 countries attended the first Movin'On, according to Michelin. The tire maker had a total of 108 partners in the event, including three universities, four governments and six research facilities, it said.
Some 40 startup companies and 79 speakers participated in the event, which also featured 49 workshops and master classes and 21 advanced technology vehicles for attendees to test-drive, Michelin said.
