LUXEMBOURG—Claus von Hermann and Andrew Sweet resigned as directors of Orion Engineered Carbons S.A., the company said in a June 28 statement.
On June 29, the company's board of directors appointed Marc Faber as a director of the company to fill one of the vacancies.
The resignations by Hermann and Sweet reflect the reduced shareholdings of Kinove Luxembourg Holdings 1 S.a.r.l. in Orion, the carbon black major said. The share move followed a secondary offering of Orion shares into the public market, which was carried out at the end of March.
In its statement, Orion thanked the departing directors for their contributions and service on the board since its foundation in 2014.
