SOUTHFIELD, Mich.—Mike Jackson has been tracking supplier trends for more than two decades. Now he is helping one of the industry's leading trade groups stay on top of trends affecting the North American supply base.
Jackson has been named executive director of strategy and research for the Original Equipment Suppliers Association, a trade group representing more than 430 automotive companies.
Jackson, 47, was most recently senior manager for vehicle production forecasting at the global market analysis firm IHS Markit. His role at OESA will include analyzing market trends and helping suppliers identify business opportunities.
Jackson has more than 20 years of experience, including positions at CSM Worldwide and at suppliers AFL Automotive, Faurecia and Sommer Allibert.
