John McElroy, host of the "Autoline Daily" webcast, will explore the auto indutry's transition during Rubber in Automotive: Benchmarking Today, Driving Tomorrow conference. His keynote presentation, "Hang On! Our Automotive Industry is About to go Upside Down" will kick off the conference on June 13.
David Cole, chairman of AutoHarvest, will deliver his keynote presentation on June 14. Titled "The Auto Future: Fast, Furious and Uncertain," the presentation will explore what technological advancements will help facilitate the next generation of the automotive industry.
The Rubber in Automotive conference, being organized by Rubber & Plastics News and Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies, will be held June 13-14 in Troy, Mich. The event features more than 20 presentations, including the two keynote speakers.
Conference Chairman Joseph Walker, Freudenberg-NOK global technology director for materials and laboratory services, has organized a program that examines the current state of the industry, looks to future trends, and focuses on topics that drive the future. That includes presentation on such areas as raw material projections, the talent pool, sustainability, and innovations in materials, technology and processes.
