"We live in a time where we have more complexity than we've ever had on the planet," Ash said in his address. "Your organizations and the systems they interact with are more complex than ever. We have to be able to take multiple perspectives, different doesn't necessarily mean wrong. We need to look at things sometimes from different angles. We have to look at new opportunities and challenges and we must not get locked into our perceptions. That's easier said than done."
After lunch, Richard Farrell—president of Tangent Knowledge Systems—addressed the group with a talk focused on different ways of looking at selling. Dan Risser of U.S. Autoclave then gave a presentation on preventive maintenance programming of autoclaves.
The day concluded with a mini-expo featuring 21 exhibitors.The meeting concludes on May 9 with three speakers combining to give four presentations and an afternoon golf tournament.
