TOKYO—Polyurethane production in Japan rose by 9 percent in February compared with February 2016, according to figures from Japan's Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
Production volumes reached 15,691 metric tons in the month compared with 14,487 tons in the same month in 2016. This is an increase of 2,525 tons itself up on the 703 tons increase between January 2016 and January 2015.
Overall production in the first two months of the 2017 was 30,455 tons compared with 27,930 tonnes in the same period in 2016.
