NEW ORLEANS—The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries will hold ISRI2017, its annual convention and exposition, at the Ernest L. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans April 22-27.
More than 4,000 attendees from all 50 states and more than 40 countries are expected to converge on ISRI2017, the institute said. Scrap recycling professionals, industry experts, manufacturers and consumers will meet at ISRI2017 to discuss the latest trends in the global scrap recycling business and evaluate state-of-the-art equipment, products and services, according to ISRI.
The exhibit hall at ISRI2017 will feature some 300 exhibitors and suppliers, ISRI said. The conference will feature expert speakers on commodities market, international trade, safety, business management, technology and industry trends, it said.
Among the special features of ISRI2017 will be:
• A celebration of ISRI's 30th anniversary;
• A dedicated Plastics Business and Operations Summit; and
• Workshops on the hottest trends in the industry, including the changing recycling stream.
