WAKEFIELD, Mass.—Trelleborg Wheel Systems Americas will raise prices on its industrial and construction products in the U.S. by an average of 7 percent, effective May 1.
Trelleborg cited rising raw materials costs since the beginning of 2017—up as much as 50 percent in some cases—as the reason for the increase.
Trelleborg only recently expanded its industrial/construction product range by adding pneumatic products to the business' solid tire portfolio.
The increase is separate from and in addition to the price hike Trelleborg announced in early March for its farm and forestry tires.
