ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Four new members have joined the International Sleep Products Association's Board of Trustees. The trustees, who are elected by ISPA's membership, are responsible for governing the association and its committees. They serve two-year terms, and represent a diverse range of companies from across the association's membership.
Two of the new trustees have polyurethane connections. David Wright is vice-president at Elite Comfort Solutions, a foam manufacturer headquartered in Newnan, Ga. It was formed by Arsenal Capital Partners in 2016 by combining several of its foam assets.
Jeffrey Sherman owns The Bedding Group, which manufactures mattresses for the Midwest, and has factories in Rock Island, Ill. and Minneapolis. Its CertiPUR-U.S. certified foams are manufactured using Harvest oils that use a blend of natural and conventional polyols.
The other two new trustees are Wade Wallace, president and chief operating officer of fabric producer Tietex International, and Kim Grubb, vice-president of sales Wright Global Graphics, a graphics specialist that offers services to the mattress industry.
Sherman said he was "honored" by the appointment.
"I've served on the ISPA Board and a few ISPA committees in the past and it's truly a pleasure to come back on board to further contribute to the growth and sustainability of our industry," he said.
