GEISMAR, La.—Lion Elastomers will implement a price increase of 20 cents per pound ($440 per metric ton) on all grades of styrene-butadiene rubber, effective April 1.
Constrained monomer availability is raising raw material costs, necessitating the price hike, Lion said.
"The raw material situation will be reviewed monthly relative to butadiene based on reported IHS contract pricing," the company said. Lion will make price adjustments as appropriate, it said.
