STOW, Ohio—Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels has added sizes to its ET Street S/S and ET Street R radial tire lines.
The ET Street S/S is a street performance tire that can also be used for racing, while the ET Street R is a street-legal tire designed for strip use.
The new Street S/S sizes—P305/45R17, P275/45R18 and P285/35R19—"have been specially designed for the high-horsepower demands of late-model vehicles," Ken Warner, vice president of marketing said.
The ET Street S/S combines Mickey Thompson's R2 drag tire compound with polyester-ply, steel-belted, tubeless radial construction to deliver dry traction performance and reliability.
The new Street R sizes—P205/50R15, P275/60R15, P295/65R15, P275/40R17 and P325/35R18—are popular within the racing community, according to Warner .
"We've developed these new sizes using our record-setting ET Street Radial Pro technology for the drag strip."
The ET Street R offers proven race compounds for ultimate traction, the company said, and the DOT-approved tire's minimal tread void design is particularly suited for high-horsepower applications.
