GELEEN, Netherlands—Arlanxeo, the 50-50 synthetic rubber joint venture between Lanxess and Saudi Aramco, will increase the price of its Keltan EPDM rubber grades because of overall market conditions and cost increases over the past several months.
It already increased EPDM prices effective March 16 up to 150 euros per metric ton in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
For NAFTA and Latin American, the price hikes will be up to $150 a ton effective April 1, the company said in its release.
Arlanxeo's Keltan-brand EPDM are used in such applications as automotive, building and construction, plastics modification, consumer goods, wire and cable, and tubes.
