BRUSSELS—Bridgestone Europe has added two new executive roles in a bid to "drive profitable growth" in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
In a March 7 announcement, the Japanese tire maker said that Laurent Dartoux has been appointed chief strategy and marketing officer, and newcomer Riccardo Cichi was appointed as chief sales officer. The two new executive committee members will both report to CEO & President Paolo Ferrari.
The appointments took effect March 1.
In his new position, Dartoux will drive end-to-end new product and solutions development, strategic partnerships as well as brands marketing. Dartoux also will be a board member of Speedy and the BRISA Bridgestone Sabanci JV in Turkey.
Cichi, who has joined Bridgestone from Pirelli North America, will drive sales and financial performance through the management of the EMEA regions.
Cichi previously has led sales organizations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
