DENVER—Johns Manville has named Bob Wamboldt as its new senior vice president/general manager of insulation systems, succeeding Fred Stephan, who left JM for another opportunity.
The firm said in a Feb. 13 news release that Joe Smith will take Wambolt's place as senior vice president/general manager of roofing systems will be Joe Smith.
Wamboldt has been with Johns Manville since 2003 and has held senior leadership positions in the firm's Engineered Products business and in Roofing Systems. He began as strategic accounts manager before being named president and general manager of Engineered Products North America. Prior to his time with JM, Wamboldt spent 16 years at PPG with roles in the firm's Fiber Glass and Coatings divisions.
Smith has been general manager of building insulation since 2012 and has been with JM for more than 28 years. He began his career as a roofing sales representative and in 1998 moved to Denver as marketing manager in JM's Roofing Systems business.
