MAASTRICHT, Netherlands—Arlanxeo will raise prices for its Keltan-branded EPDM products.
Prices in Europe, middle East and Africa will increase about $135 per metric ton, effective Feb. 1. In Latin America and China, prices will increase about $150 per metric ton. The increase in Latin America is effective Feb. 13, China effective Feb. 15.
Arlanxeo said the increases are a result of the overall market and cost developments of the past months. It said its Keltan brand EPDM products are used in automotive, construction, plastics modification, wire and cable, tubes, and consumer goods.
The firm is a joint venture between Lanxess A.G. and Saudi Aramco with sales of about $3 billion. Arlanxeo consists of 20 global production sites and 3,800 employees.
