ALBANY, Ga.—Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. is assessing damage to its Albany warehouse and distribution facility following a Jan. 22 tornado. No injuries were reported at the facility, which is operated by a third party, Cooper said.
The facility remains closed as assessments of the damage continue, Cooper said in a news release, adding that it has activated its logistics contingency plan to help fulfill orders and minimize disruption caused by the facility's closure.
Cooper carries insurance to cover tornadic events.
