HOUSTON, Texas—Angus Chemical Co. has joined the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers, Inc. as an affiliate member.
Angus claims to be the only company in the world dedicated to nitroalkanes and their derivatives. The company's portfolio of products serves a variety of industries including paints and coatings, personal care, electronics, adhesives and water treatment.
Headquartered in Buffalo Grove, Ill., Angus has designated John Burger as the liaison representative and Patrick Brutto as the alternate.
"We are extremely happy to announce the membership of Angus Chemical Co. to our list of affiliated members," Juan Ramon Salinas, managing director of the IISRP said in a news release.
The IISRP is an international non-profit trade association with more than 60 corporate members worldwide. Its members, located in 22 countries, produce 90 percent of the world's synthetic rubber, according to the association. Based in Houston, IISRP also supports offices in Milan, Tokyo and Beijing.
