RUTHERFORDTON, N.C.—Trelleborg A.B.'s Engineered Coated Fabrics operation recently launched the Trelleborg Master Fabricator Program in the U.S. with six industry-leading fabricators serving the general industry and aerospace markets.
The inaugural event was held Nov. 15-17, 2016, in Rutherfordton.
Trelleborg said the program is a collaboration between Trelleborg Engineered Coated Fabrics, American Rubber Products, Floats & Fuel Cells Inc., Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies, Gasket Engineering Co., Mueller Die Cut Solutions Inc. and Sealing Devices Inc.
"The mission of the Master Fabricator Program is to collectively add more value to the supply chain," Steve Brockman, Trelleborg U.S. Sales & Business Development Director for Trelleborg's engineered coated fabrics, said in a statement. "Trelleborg and their key fabrication partners will leverage their strengths and close collaboration to gain deeper end user insights. We'll use these insights to drive new product development and to identify creative ways to improve our market responsiveness. We believe the Trelleborg Master Fabricator Program will establish a new benchmark for bringing coated fabric innovations to market."
