BRUSSELS—The EU passenger car market managed to grow at 5.8 percent in November, following a slowdown in October, the Brussels-based European Automobile Manufacturers Association said.
In October, the figure fell slightly—by 0.02 percent when compared to the same month in 2015—to about 1.1 million total units. The total number of units reached 1.14 million in November.
Growth in November was supported by all major markets, with Spain, France and Italy posting the strongest gains, while the United Kingdom and Germany followed with more modest figures.
