QUINCY, Ill.—Titan International Inc. President Paul Reitz will succeed Maurice Taylor Jr. as CEO, effective Jan. 1.
Titan's Board of Directors approved the appointment Dec. 9.
Reitz, 44, has been with Titan for about six years, first coming on board as the company's chief financial officer in 2010. He was named Titan president in February 2014.
"Paul has demonstrated that he is not only intelligent, but he knows how to build and lead a strong team," Taylor said in a news release. "I look forward to advising him on various engineering products and helping out with new wheel operations in Russia and Brazil."
Prior to joining Titan, Reitz was the chief accounting officer for Columbus, Ga.-based Carmike Cinemas. He also held leadership positions with McLeodUSA Publishing, Yellow Book USA Inc. and Deloitte and Touche L.L.P.
Reitz holds a master's of business administration degree from the University of Iowa and a bachelor of business administration degree from Northwood University.
Taylor will continue as chairman of Titan's board of directors.
