TOKYO—Lexus' new luxury coupe LC500/LC500h, which is set to launch in 2017, will be fitted with Bridgestone's Potenza S001L RFT and Turanza T005 RFT runflat tires, the Japanese tire maker announced.
The tires, which Bridgestone claims can travel up to 50 miles at up to 50mph after a puncture or loss of pressure, were designed for the Lexus LC500/LC500h to achieve high driving performance.
The two tires, Bridgestone added, help realize the key concepts of the Lexus LC500/LC500h image of being "even sharper (and) more refined."
