CLARKSTON, Mich.—General Polymers Thermoplastics Materials L.L.C. has reached a cooperative agreement with Simcoe Plastics Ltd. for expansion of the General Polymers brand in Canada.
Simcoe specializes in provided resins and select premium resins for demanding applications. General Polymers said the agreement allows the firm the opportunity to bring a consistent supply of prime resin offerings to automotive and premium custom applications.
The firm said Simco Plastics was a natural fit for a cooperative expansion into Canada.
“Our supply partners are excited about the focused approach on their product lines and rapid expansion of commercial coverage in North America,” General Polymers Partner Gregory Boston said in a statement.
“We understand that the industry has grown and matured, but the fundamental needs of small to medium size processors remain the same,” he added. “General Polymers will focus on servicing those needs.”
