AKRON—Rubber & Plastics News and Freudenberg-NOK are teaming up to organize a conference in June focusing on the use of rubber products in automotive.
The event will be held June 13-14 in Troy, Mich., and is titled “Rubber in Automotive: Benchmarking Today, Driving Tomorrow.”
Joseph Walker, global director of advanced materials development for the Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies division, will serve as conference chairman. His vision is for the conference to provide information, insight and dialogue between manufacturers of rubber products used in automobiles and their customers.
The conference is looking to attract attendees that include decision makers that impact rubber products in automobiles; staff from OEMs; personnel from rubber product makers, including formulators suppliers and fabricators; process equipment manufacturers; supply chain professionals; research and development, technology and production managers; and commercial teams.
