DRESDEN, Germany—Kevin Rohlwing, senior vice president of training for the Tire Industry Association, will be a featured speaker at the 12th International Conference of Intelligent Tire Technology, scheduled for Oct. 25-27 in Dresden.
Rohlwing will be the only speaker representing the U.S. at the conference, according to TIA. His presentation, “Market Changes in the U.S.,” will be an analysis of the current tire placement market and changes to tire distribution.
In addition, Rohlwing will also discuss the effect of tariffs on imported tires, provide an overview of U.S. tire registration legislation, and share a proposed model for a tire recall recovery system using electronic identification, it said.
ITT 2016 will focus on the latest developments in intelligent tire technology in passenger cars and commercial vehicles, according to TIA.
