PITTSBURGH—The ACS Rubber Division honored those who have dedicated 25 years or more to their careers in the rubber industry during the 25-Year Club Reception and Luncheon, held Oct. 12 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.
In addition to recognizing those who had achieved the 25-year milestone for career service, the Rubber Division also honored John Sezna for his 48 years of service in the industry.
Sezna began his career in 1968 with Dupont and most recently worked with Alpha Technologies. After his retirement 12 years ago, Sezna has not stepped away from the industry. Today serves in a consulting role as the president of Rubber Testing Consultants Inc.
Those attending the luncheon also had the opportunity to learn more about the conference's host city of Pittsburgh. Karl Pietrzak, of Visit Pittsburgh, gave a short presentation detailing the city's unique history and culture.
The 25-Year Club Reception & Luncheon was held in conjunction with the International Elastomer Conference and Rubber Expo.
