TRAVERSE CITY, Mich.—Omni United (S) Pte. Ltd., through its Radar Tires brand, is continuing its support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation by partnering with LPGA golfer Jodi Ewart Shadoff to increase visibility and awareness of this cause.
Throughout the month of October, which is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ewart Shadoff, a Radar brand ambassador, will wear pink gear and use a specially designed pink golf club bag. In doing so, she is the first female golfer to publically support BCRF.
“It is exciting and an honor for me to wear the color pink during the month of October, a symbol of hope and courage for all breast cancer patients and survivors, during the month of October, and thus support the efforts of Omni, Radar Tires and the BCRF in finding a cure for breast cancer” Ewart Shadoff said.
Since its launch in 2011, Omni's “Mobilizing Hope” campaign, which provided contributions to the BCRF for every tire sold, has donated more than $1 million to the research that works to find solutions to prevent and cure breast cancer.
“Giving back is one of the corporate values upon which we have built Omni United and Radar Tires,” Omni United CEO GS Sareen said.
