VIENNA—Semperit Group's Chief Information Officer Declan Daly is leaving the company in June 2017 “to pursue other professional opportunities outside of the group,” the company announced Sept. 30.
According to the Austrian rubber engineering group, Daly does not intend to renew his current contract for another term after May 2017.
The announcement follows a decision by Semperit Chief Financial Officer Johannes Schmidt-Schultes who said Sept. 9 that he would not be available for another contract renewal after his second term finishes in April 2017.
Daly, appointed CIO and member of the executive board in March 2014, was tasked with the design and implementation of a group wide digitization strategy.
“Declan Daly has made a major contribution to the modernization and optimization of the internal business processes” said Veit Sorger, chairman of Semperit supervisory board.
