NEW CASTLE, Del.—TA Instruments will offer the newest installment of its free, online practical scientific training course on Oct. 5. The latest segment—the second part of “A Practice Approach to Thermal Analysis”— will focus on techniques, experiments, and data related to Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), according to the company.
Those participating in the course will learn the basics of TGA, Evolved Gas Analysis (TGA-Mass Spectrometry), Hi-Res TGA, Modulated TGA measurements, instrument calibration and verification, how to design optimal experimental conditions, and tips for presenting data, TA Instruments said.
The training series is open to all TGA users. An interactive question and answer session will be conducted at the end of each live broadcast.
“We are looking forward to hosting this educational and professional discussion open to thousands of TGA users,” said Ed Moriarty, director of worldwide marketing. “We will continue to offer these very popular training modules in the future to include a wide breadth of topics under thermal analysis, rheology, microcalorimetry and more.”
