FRANKLIN, Tenn.—Nissan Motor Corp. has selected the Toyo Open Country A26 all-season P-metric light truck tire as the standard OE fitment for the 2017 Titan full-size pickup truck.
The new half-ton model comes standard with a 390-horse-power, gasoline 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine matched with a 7-speed automatic transmission, Nissan said.
The vehicle is available in five trim levels—S (base model); SV (base plus interior and exterior modifications); PRO-4X (off-road-oriented); SL (luxury-oriented); and Platinum Reserve.
All are offered with a choice of 4x2 or 4x4 drive configurations, except for the PRO-4X model, which is available exclusively as a 4x4.
The standard tire fitment is P265/70R18 114S, according to Toyo, which calls the Open Country A26 an all-season tire that achieves stable driving even on snowy roads while offering the traction and fuel economy. This is Toyo's first OE fitment on the Titan.
Nissan also offers Goodyear-, General- and Toyo-brand all-terrain tires as optional fitments.
