AIKEN, S.C.—Bridgestone Americas Inc. has appointed two new leaders for its passenger/light truck and off road radial manufacturing facilities in Aiken.
Tim Painter will lead the firm's passenger/light truck tire facility. He replaces Fran Jones, who was named manager of Bridgestone Americas Manufacturing Group's talent development and education, relocating to Nashville, Tenn.
Adam Barfoot will lead the off road radial facility, replacing Ron Brooks, who retired in December 2015.
Painter has spent 28 years with Bridgestone Americas, beginning his career at the LaVergne, Tenn., manufacturing plant in 1989. Since then he's progressed through leadership positions, most recently serving as operations manager at the plant.
Barfoot brings more than 10 years of experience at Bridgestone, holding leadership positions at several of the firm's manufacturing sites. He most recently served as operations manager for the Aiken ORR plant.
Nashville-based Bridgestone Americas is the North American operating arm of Tokyo-based Bridgestone Corp.
