PITTSBURGH—Early registration for the International Elastomer Conference, hosted by the ACS Rubber Division, ends Aug. 31.
Held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh on Oct. 10-13, the conference offers educational, networking and sales opportunities. The expo features exhibits from 140 companies and organizations.
Also during the conference, more than 120 papers will be presented by industry experts, covering topics such as rubber reinforcement; cure systems and networks; synthetics rubber and synthetic rubber-based products; tire traction, handling and performance; natural rubber and bio materials for rubber adhesion and silicon materials for rubber.
The educational symposium offers insight into topics such as rubber technology, molding rubber, bonding rubber and silicone.
In addition to the networking and educational opportunities, a 5K walk/run is planned for 6:30 a.m. Oct. 12. There is no cost to participate in the 5K, but registration is requested.
Also on Oct. 12, a 25-Year Club Reception & Luncheon is planned. Cost for the luncheon is $60.
