CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio—Emerald Performance Materials' Kalama Chemical business group has made two personnel moves.
The firm has promoted Shamsi Gravel to vice president, global key accounts, and has appointed Scott Neuheardt as vice president and general manager for the group's K-Flex plasticizers and coalescents line.
Gravel brings 20 years of experience, focusing on specialty chemicals. She joined Emerald in 2009 and served in various management roles, most recently as K-Flex vice president. Prior to joining the firm, she held positions with Chemquest, Bostik Findley and National Search and Chemical.
Neuheardt brings 20 years of senior operations and management experience in the specialty chemicals industry. He most recently was president and chief operating officer at Sekisui Specialty Chemicals, also serving various other roles at Celanese and GE Plastics.
