TROY, Mich.—Dayco Products L.L.C. will present its go-to-market and automotive aftermarket service strategies during the 2016 Automotive Aftermarket Asia Pacific Summit, to be held Sept. 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Dayco CEO John T. Bohenick will serve as keynote speaker at the conference and is expected to zero in on the challenges the industry faces in the market. He and Arnold Mouw, managing director of Dayco's business in the region, will represent Dayco during the two-day event.
“For our aftermarket customers, we focus on providing detailed catalog and application intelligence, high quality products, systems and solutions, timeliness and training, resulting in a seamless service experience from delivery to technical support,” he said.
Bohenick said that “whether we're speaking to distributors, retailers or mechanics in emerging markets, such as Southeast Asia, or in established markets, our goal is to help our customers be even more successful.”
As the market rapidly grows, the company said, the automotive aftermarket in ASEAN countries is expected to become a $38 billion industry by 2025.
It said that during the summit, attendees will learn about laws, regulations and codes of conduct in ASEAN countries, how to communicate with vehicle owners and service providers, and the best ways to integrate traditional aftermarket methods with the Internet.
