CARPINTERIA, Calif—Max Gisbert Kley, who has worked for the Freudenberg Group since 2000, has been named the CEO of Freudenberg Medical. His appointment became effective Aug. 1.
Kley replaces Jorg Schneewind, who has left the company, according to a company spokesperson.
Kley began his career with Freudenberg in the Mergers & Acquisitions department. In 2005, he served as CFO North America for Freudenberg Household Products, then in 2008 returned to Germany to manage another Freudenberg business, Burgmann Automotive.
In 2012, he joined the management board of Freudenberg Medical as president of Europe and Business Development. Since 2015 he has led the global Specialty Components division of Freudenberg Medical.
