ATLANTA—Belt Power L.L.C. has completed the acquisition of Lightweight conveyor belt distributor Sun Belt Inc.
Based in Lakeland, Fla., Sun Belt primarily serves the Midwest and Southeast markets through branches in Lenexa, Kan., and Lakeland. Sun Belt owner Gunnar Henning will become a shareholder in Belt Power and will take an active leadership role in the company, according to Belt Power.
Terms of the transaction were not released.
A fabricator and distributor of lightweight conveyor systems components—including belts, equipment and accessories, along with rubber, hose and gasket products—Belt Power was supported in the acquisition by Shorehill Capital L.L.C., the majority investor in Belt Power.
