TROY, Mich.—Dayco Products L.L.C. has opened sales and technical support offices in Belgrade, Serbia, and Lisbon, Portugal, to expand its customer service operation.
With an aim toward increasing its market share, the Troy-headquartered company has been building its global base in the last year, and its latest additions give it four offices launched around the globe in the last 12 months. The other two are in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
“Dayco is focused on increased geographic presence as we see continued growth in our traditional markets of North America and Europe as well as accelerated growth in China, South American India, eastern and central Europe, Russia, the Middle East, and Africa,” said Dayco CEO John Bohenick.
The company—an engine products and drive systems designer and manufacturer—operates more than 50 locations in 20 countries, all located to serve customers locally, the company said. Since 2013, it said, sales in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Africa and India have increased by more than 35 percent.
