FAIRLAWN, Ohio—Applied Mexico S.A. de C.V. and subsidiary Rodensa Mexico S.A. de C.V. have completed a changeover to ContiTech A.G.'s product lines and will become primary suppliers for industrial hose, hydraulics, power transmission belts and other goods in Mexico.

One of the largest industrial distribution networks in Mexico, Applied Mexico has 22 facilities in the country that provide industrial products for maintenance, repair and operational needs, ContiTech said.

Most of the products supplied to Applied Mexico and its subsidiary will be produced at ContiTech's Chihuahua, Mexico, production plant and will be distributed from the company's warehouse in San Luis Potosi.

“This is a significant achievement for ContiTech,” said Jim Hill, NAFTA CEO for ContiTech, which has its U.S headquarters in Fairlawn. “It will enable us to continue our growth plans and increase our market share in Mexico.”

Sergio Nevarez, general director of Applied Mexico, said the changeover to ContiTech will be a positive move for its customers. “With most of the ContiTech products sourced locally, product availability will be even better.”
